BBA International Hospitality & Hotel Management

BBA HOSPITALITY – IHHM

BBA Hospitality is a professional course that provides knowledge and training in management of Hotels, Motels, Resorts, Tourism and the entire segment of Hospitality and its operations. It also develops the aptitude and capabilities in the field of Culinary Art, Menu Planning, Raw Material Indenting, Inventory Management and Food Costing. It is a three years course that includes six months of classroom theory and six months of internship.

As France is a centre of fine dining it is the perfect hub to learn about the pairing of various food, cheese and wine.

Exposure to haute cuisine will give the student an edge in this highly competitive space of gastronomy. With this course, the student is minted to take an internship at luxury hotels/resorts and such places.

SPECIALISATION – INTERNATIONAL HOSPITALITY AND HOTEL MANAGEMENT

The International Hospitality and Hotel Management specialisation will throw light on the Hospitality divisions like Hotels, Restaurants, Banquets, Conventions and Tourism etc. Students learn about the Hotel Organisation Structure like Front Office Operations, Housekeeping Operations, Accommodation Operations, Food & Beverage production and service both.

Students are taught IT Skills, Business Communication, Sales and Marketing of a hotel. The passed out students have the choice to join 5 or 4 star hotels, Speciality Restaurants, Retail Food Outlets, Fast Foods, Cruise liner Ships and Airlines etc. On successful completion of three years of the bachelor course student will earn 180 ECTS Credits.

SPECIALISATION – INTERNATIONAL CULINARY ARTS AND MANAGEMENT

This course gives the student exposure to the high-energy kitchen, the nucleus of this program. That helps the student to understand the workings thus handling the inventory of food and other essentials and staple.

Training and management of the wait staff, Head Chefs and including a brief to the interiors of the dining hall will be given. Finally, they will be taught to handle customer and customer feedback. On successful completion of three years of the degree course student will earn 180 ECTS Credits.

SPECIALISATION – INTERNATIONAL DIGITAL HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT

International Digital Management provides the management with digital tools to make strategic decisions to become successful in Hospitality. The digital trends such as automatic check-in and check-out, booking of rooms through OTA portals robots in place of wait staff and such advanced technology to be applied. Ordering food online, uploading reviews and digital reputation management such as Google reviews will also be taught.

The novel trends like using smart technology like GDS used for the rooms inventory management, revenue management will be included in the course. On successful completion of three years of the degree course student will earn 180 ECTS Credits.
